The Rare Breed: We raise Cornish Blacks (Large Blacks). This rare heritage breed matures slowly, yielding a meat that is supremely tender and juicy. Their natural marbling—enhanced by a slightly higher fat content—melts while cooking, delivering an unforgettable flavour. By selecting only BPA-registered 'pedigree' or 'birth notified' stock, we are actively preserving these important heritage breeds.
The Natural Environment: We are firm believers in keeping pigs in their natural habitat. Our pigs spend their entire lives outdoors. They never move to sheds like "outdoor bred" or commercially-reared pork. This gives them a rich, stimulating life—foraging, rooting, and playing—which is vital for their well-being and allows them to naturally supplement their diet with plants and grubs.
