Christmas tree season at Probus is one of our favourite times of the year. Starting in the last weekend of November, the farm is filled with rows of evergreens. All our trees are freshly cut and ready for you to take home. We have every single tree out on show so you’ll easily find the perfect tree.

We only stock non-drop Nordmann and Fraser Firs.

Nordmann Fir’s are the most popular Christmas tree in the UK because of their symmetrical shape, strong branches and their soft needles.

Fraser Fir’s tend to be more slender which can be handy in some homes! They also have a more silvery underside to their needles.

Both types of trees have won numerous BCTGA (British Christmas Tree Growers Association) awards and boast excellent needle retention properties.

Unfortunately we don’t grow the trees ourselves however, we make a point of stocking the highest quality trees we can source (locally!). Nothing is imported! Our trees are grown by Dartmoor Christmas Trees (yes, it’s Devon), but unlike their pasties and cream teas - these are top notch!
